1. Who we are
Truglaze Windows and Doors Limited ("Truglaze", "we", "us", "our") is the data controller responsible for your personal data. We are a company registered in England and Wales.
Company name - Truglaze Windows and Doors Limited
Company number - 10813050 (registered in England and Wales)
Registered office - 3 Astore House, Padholme Road East, Peterborough, PE1 5XL

2. What personal data we collect
We only collect personal data that you give us directly when you submit our website enquiry form. This is:
● Name
● Company name
● Email address
We do not use analytics, advertising, or marketing tracking tools, and we do not collect any personal data automatically for profiling or advertising purposes. The only automated tool involved is Google reCAPTCHA, used solely to prevent spam submissions to our form (see section 7 and our Cookie Policy).
3. How we use your data and our lawful basis
We use the information you submit through our enquiry form to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, and correspond with you about our products and services.
Lawful basis: We rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) to respond to enquiries you have proactively made to us, as processing your name, company name and email for this purpose is necessary and would reasonably be expected by you. Where we go on to provide a quote or enter into a contract with you, we rely on Article 6(1)(b), processing necessary for the performance of a contract or to take steps at your request prior to entering into one.
We do not use your data for any automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
4. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry form submissions for 12 months, from the date of your last contact with us, after which they are deleted, unless a longer period is required to deal with your enquiry, provide a quote, fulfil a contract, or comply with a legal obligation (e.g. accounting records).
5. Who we share your data with
We share personal data with the following processors, who act on our instructions and are contractually bound to protect it:
● Wix.com Inc. — our website hosting and form provider, which stores your enquiry submission and may process data outside the UK/EEA under its own safeguards (Wix's own privacy policy applies to its processing as our data processor).
● Google LLC — provider of reCAPTCHA, used only to detect spam on our enquiry form.
We do not share your data with any marketing, advertising, or analytics providers, because we do not use any.
6. International transfers
Wix and Google may process data on servers located outside the UK. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations, as set out in Wix's and Google's own privacy and data processing terms.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
● Access the personal data we hold about you
● Have inaccurate data corrected
● Request erasure of your data
● Object to or restrict our processing
● Request data portability, where applicable
● Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at sales@truglazewindows.co.uk. If you remain unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data submitted through our website, including relying on Wix's platform-level security and spam protection via Google reCAPTCHA.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this document shows when it was last revised.
